The Solar hot water rebate can provide a rebate of up to $1,000 to install or replace a solar (or heat pump) hot water system. This is a great option for households to save $140-$400 every year on their electricity bills.

If you’re looking to further improve a previously installed Solar Power System the Solar battery rebate offers eligible households a discount of up to $4,838 off the cost of installing a solar battery system.

Rebates aren’t just for owner occupiers either. The Solar rebates for rental properties is making sure renters can also benefit from solar. A rebate of $1,888, is available for rental properties, subject to a lease agreement with tenants.

Solar Battery Rebates – New Release Out Now

There will be 1,000 rebates of up to $4,838 for a solar battery system that household owners can take advantage of in 2019-2020. Installing a battery can help a typical household save up to $640 a year. This battery program targets over 100 designated postcodes with high PV penetration and population growth. For an area to be considered a designated postcode must be in a high growth suburb and have high PV penetration like Armstrong Creek, Highton, Waurn Ponds and Belmont.
