Geelong solar power project at St Joseph’s CollegeDecember 21 2017
At City to Surf Solar, we love getting our teeth into an exciting new Geelong solar power project.
And that’s just what we’ve done at St Joseph’s College in Newtown. The boys’ college wanted to harness the power of the sun and our experienced team delivered an 88kW solar system to achieve the aim.
The aerial photo below shows the large array of solar panels we installed on roofs at the college’s Newtown campus. The system comprises: 324 x Trina 275W modules; and 4 x SMA STP 20,000 inverters.
So why are clients, including schools such as St Joseph’s College, turning to solar? Well, there are many reasons, but the simple fact that electricity prices have jumped by over 80 per cent in the past handful of years, is a pretty good one.
Solar energy is sustainable, renewable, protects against future price hikes, reduces power bills and takes little maintenance. That’s right, there’s plenty to like about installing Geelong solar power systems.
Whether you’re a homeowner wanting panels on your roof, a commercial client or a school or community organisation, solar power makes sense.
At City to Surf Solar, we are regional experts when it comes to Geelong solar power. From design to supply and installation, we’ve got you covered.
